Marlay Park, Dublin – GAA Pitch

Clive Richardson Limited were awarded this contract by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown county Council for general civil engineering/landscaping works to the existing GAA playing pitch 2 in the northeast section of Marlay Park, in close proximity to Ballinteer St. John’s GAA Club clubhouse. The park is located off the Grange Road, Rathfarnam and is a 100Hectare park managed by DLRCC.
The works were general civil engineering/landscaping in nature to reconstruct the existing GAA pitch area which had never formally been constructed for use as a pitch. The works included stripping topsoil, re-grading and ripping subsoil, drainage, placing of topsoil/sand, tilling, levelling and seeding and grow-in maintenance.
The works were undertaken while the park was open to the public and special care was required for the health & safety of park users and staff.
